Mural Painting

For this mural, I came up with the idea of making enlarged close up's of leaf textures and make it a gradient from green to terra-cotta, going through all the colors in between, which also resembles not only different types of leaves but also the seasons of the year.

The challenge was that it had to be done in one day. It was made with the help of volunteers from "Beckman Coulter" which was an interesting project to coordinate, since some of these volunteers did not have any experience with art or painting at all but had great enthusiasm and a good feeling for the project. They did most of the work themselves, I just touched it up a little bit at the end.

Betta Fish Mural

This is a mural I painted back in the day when I was 19. The wall measures about 30 feet tall by another 30 feet wide. The background was filled with shells in sepia tones and the Betta fish was the only element in full color.
